About the role
We are looking for a Senior Director to join our Transaction Services team – bring your ambition and shape what comes next. The role leads professional Transaction Services, drives practice growth, and serves as a trusted advisor throughout the transaction lifecycle.
Key responsibilities
- Lead and manage buy‑side and sell‑side transaction advisory services, delivering due diligence, quality of earnings, valuation support and financial analysis.
- Develop and execute the firm’s long‑term Transaction Services growth strategy and business development initiatives.
- Manage key client relationships, acting as a trusted advisor across the transaction lifecycle.
- Lead financial due diligence engagements, coordinating with management teams, buyers, sellers, lenders and other advisors.
- Oversee quality of earnings analyses, working capital assessments, cash‑flow analysis and related transaction considerations.
- Provide valuation and transaction support for mergers, acquisitions, divestitures, recapitalizations and financing transactions.
- Lead engagement teams to ensure projects are delivered on time, efficiently and to high professional standards.
- Identify market opportunities, build prospective client relationships and lead proposal preparation.
- Develop and mentor team members, fostering technical excellence and collaboration.
- Promote Baker Tilly’s Transaction Services capabilities through marketing, branding and networking activities.
Required profile
- 7+ years of experience in Transaction Services, Deal Advisory, Corporate Finance or related financial advisory roles.
- Professional designation such as CPA, CBV, CFA, MBA or comparable finance/accounting credential.
- Strong expertise in financial due diligence, quality of earnings, working capital and transaction‑related analysis.
- Proven ability to manage and execute complex transaction engagements from start to finish.
- Demonstrated success in business development, client relationship management and practice growth.
- Excellent communication, presentation and report‑writing skills.
- Leadership experience including team development and project management.
- Advanced analytical, financial modeling and problem‑solving capabilities.
