Senior DevOps Engineer – Azure & GitHub Actions

About the role

We are looking for a senior DevOps Engineer who can drive cloud infrastructure initiatives, migrate pipelines to GitHub Actions, and ensure reliable delivery of micro‑services across Azure and other cloud platforms. The ideal candidate is a self‑starter who thrives in an independent, fast‑paced environment.

Key responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain cloud infrastructure on Azure and additional cloud providers.
• Migrate Azure DevOps pipelines to GitHub Actions within a 12‑month timeframe.
• Develop Helm charts and YAML configurations for new micro‑services.
• Deploy front‑end assets using Akamai Netstorage and backend workloads on Kubernetes.
• Manage secrets with Azure Key Vault and support CI/CD platforms, including SonarQube and Dynatrace.
• Create and maintain CI/CD pipelines in Bitbucket, GitHub, and GitHub Actions.
• Integrate security checks, static code analysis, and vulnerability scanning into pipelines.
• Automate infrastructure operations, troubleshoot production issues, and optimise resource usage.
• Document processes, configurations, and best practices; mentor team members on DevOps best practices.

Required profile

• Senior‑level experience with cloud infrastructure and DevOps automation.
• Strong independent work ethic and ability to drive projects from concept to production.
• Excellent problem‑solving skills across Linux, networking, and security domains.
