Senior Cybersecurity Consultant – AI Security (Hybrid, Toronto)

About the role

We are seeking a Senior Cybersecurity Consultant specialized in AI Security to join our team on a 12‑month contract. The role is hybrid, with two days per week on‑site in Toronto, and focuses on designing and implementing AI‑driven security solutions for a regulated banking environment.

Key responsibilities

• Develop security architectures for cloud, data, and AI platforms in highly regulated BFSI settings.
• Design and implement AI‑driven solutions for threat detection, fraud prevention, security operations, and cyber analytics.
• Lead hands‑on AI security initiatives, including GenAI security, prompt‑injection mitigation, data‑leakage prevention, model governance, and AI risk management.
• Ensure compliance with NIST AI RMF, MITRE ATT&CK, ISO 27001, CIS Controls, and relevant cloud security frameworks.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to align security strategies with banking regulatory expectations.

Required profile

• 8+ years of experience in cybersecurity, information security, or cyber risk.
• Proven experience developing security architectures for cloud, data, and AI platforms in the banking/financial sector.
• Hands‑on expertise in AI/ML security risks, LLM security, and AI risk management.
• Familiarity with NIST AI RMF, MITRE ATT&CK, ISO 27001, CIS Controls, and cloud security frameworks.
• Experience with Microsoft Security Copilot, Azure AI Security, AWS Security Services, Google Vertex AI Security, or similar platforms.
