- Contribute to end-to-end solution architecture, including non-functional requirements and operational readiness.
- Lead delivery of modern data platforms on Databricks, including ETL/ELT pipelines, workload migrations and governance enablement.
- Implement Delta Lake and Lakehouse patterns such as medallion architecture, CDC, incremental processing and data quality controls.
- Design and build scalable batch and streaming pipelines using Spark and modern orchestration patterns.
- Apply CI/CD and engineering best practices, including version control, automated deployment, testing and release management.
- Set up governance with Unity Catalog, covering access controls, lineage and security frameworks.
- Support testing and production releases through troubleshooting, performance tuning and stabilization, and help create presentation materials for stakeholders.
Required profile
- University degree in computer engineering, mathematics, data science or a related discipline.
- 4+ years of experience in data engineering, business intelligence or a related field, with a track record of handling large datasets.
- 2+ years of hands-on Databricks experience, including Delta Lake and Unity Catalog.
- 1 to 2 years of experience leading workstreams or client-facing delivery.
- Proven experience leading large-scale data migrations to cloud-native environments.
- Experience with at least one major cloud platform (AWS, Azure or GCP).
Required skills
- Strong SQL and data modeling, dimensional modeling and data warehousing.
- Python or a similar scripting language.
- ETL across SQL and NoSQL databases.
- CI/CD practices, version control and pipeline orchestration.
- Databricks Certified Data Engineer (Associate or Professional) or a relevant AWS, Azure or GCP certification is a plus.
The compensation listed is base salary only; total compensation includes base salary plus annual bonuses. Applications are submitted through the recruiter's online portal, followed by a vetting call and then submission to the client.
