Data and Product Analyst (Contract)

About the role

PwC's Chief Data and Analytics Office (CDAO) within its Business Enablement team is looking for a Data and Product Analyst at Senior Associate level, on a 12-month full-time contract in Toronto. The role develops, delivers and continuously improves dashboards and reporting tools, working with stakeholders across Finance, Sales & Marketing, Human Capital and other parts of the business. It follows the departure of a valued team member.

Key responsibilities

• Gather requirements, collect feedback and align priorities with the portfolio lead to build a product backlog
• Turn business problems into solution mock-ups and clear technical requirements
• Document business requirements, user stories, acceptance criteria and specifications
• Perform initial data analysis to assess project feasibility and give developers actionable feedback
• Support user acceptance testing (UAT) and internal quality assurance (QA)
• Review development outputs and derive insights for stakeholders

Required profile

• Experience collaborating with business stakeholders and delivering client services
• Background as a Business Analyst or in a data-focused environment highly valued
• Degree or certification in Business or a related field; CBAP certification is an asset
• Ability to explain complex analytics clearly to senior stakeholders

Required skills

• Data product development, data visualization, data platforms (e.g. Databricks) and business intelligence tools (e.g. Power BI)
• Agile/Scrum and tools such as Azure DevOps and Asana
• SQL, data querying and basic data modelling

The salary range is $71,500 - $119,200, and eligible employees may join variable incentive pay programs.
