Senior Construction Consultant – Claims & Project Management

About the role

Revay and Associates Limited is seeking a senior‑level consultant with extensive experience in the Canadian construction industry. The role focuses on construction dispute resolution, claims analysis, project management, and risk management for clients across government, private owners, contractors, and law firms.

Key responsibilities

• Evaluate project documents and conduct analyses to prepare claims, expert reports, and supporting documentation for mediation, arbitration or litigation.
• Lead client mandates, managing deliverables, schedules and budgets while mentoring junior and intermediate consultants.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, providing peer reviews and ensuring high‑quality outputs.
• Develop and maintain client relationships, contribute to proposals, and identify new business opportunities.
• Support marketing initiatives, prepare promotional materials, and represent the firm in industry associations.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in engineering, architecture or quantity surveying (construction management specialization preferred).
• Professional registration with a recognized body such as PEO, or eligibility to register.
• Minimum 10 years of experience in Canadian construction, including claims preparation, scheduling, project controls and risk management.
• Proven ability to develop unbiased opinions, present balanced arguments and mentor teams.
• Strong analytical, writing and presentation skills.
