Senior Claims Vendor Management Specialist

About the role

Zurich Canada is seeking a senior specialist to manage and optimise contracts with external claims vendors in line with the company’s Claims Management strategy. Reporting to the Head of Claims, TPA & Vendor Management, you will serve as the primary interface between vendors and Zurich, ensuring requirements are met and high‑quality, competitively priced solutions are delivered.

Key responsibilities

• Source, manage and negotiate contracts with claims vendors, working closely with procurement.
• Lead due‑diligence processes, develop agreements for complex vendors and ensure compliance with service level agreements.
• Audit and track vendor performance, report metrics, and address performance issues.
• Participate in vendor reviews, drive continuous improvement, cost savings and eliminate redundancies.
• Monitor competitor activity and align vendor management with industry best practices.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree with 6+ years of vendor management experience, or high school diploma with 8+ years of experience.
• Proven experience managing external business relationships and performance.
• Preferred: experience managing projects or teams.
