Senior Admissions Officer

About the role

The Senior Admissions Officer supports diploma, undergraduate and professional graduate programs at the UBC Sauder School of Business, overseeing admissions processes and ensuring data integrity.

Key responsibilities

• Act as a resource for admissions staff, providing training, technical support, and overseeing data entry for business program applications.
• Manage the online recruitment and admissions application ecosystem, troubleshoot technical issues, and recommend system improvements.
• Develop and generate reports from the online application system to support pipeline management, fee reconciliation, and student record processes.
• Evaluate transcripts, test scores, and other documentation to assess applicant eligibility and prepare decisions for admissions committees.
• Liaise with internal stakeholders (faculty, IT, enrolment services) and external applicants, handling inquiries and correspondence.

Required profile

• High school graduation plus a two‑year post‑secondary diploma and at least four years of related experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Commitment to equity, diversity and inclusion, and willingness to respect diverse perspectives.

Required skills

• Advanced computer skills with hands‑on experience using Microsoft Office.
• Experience working with online application systems and data import/export processes.
