Senior Accounts Receivable Specialist – 1 Year Contract

About the role

The Senior Accounts Receivable Specialist will support the Accounts Receivable team by preparing monthly account summaries, applying credits and payments, and collecting overdue balances. Reporting to the Team Leader, this 1‑year contract position requires strong communication and cross‑functional collaboration with internal partners and strategic customers.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct collection activities for a mixed portfolio of low‑value customer accounts, handling inquiries and payment issues.
• Prepare and reconcile monthly account breakdowns, credit notes, and unapplied credit balances.
• Coordinate pre‑authorized payments with customers and the Payments team.
• Participate in conference calls and AR escalation processes to recover past‑due invoices.
• Maintain accurate documentation of all AR activities and generate reports to identify trends and improvement areas.

• Proven ability to manage a high‑volume AR workload with meticulous attention to detail.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills for engaging stakeholders at all levels.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills to resolve complex or escalated accounts.
