Senior Accountant

About the role

Alimentiv, a global Contract Research Organization focused on gastrointestinal therapies, is seeking a Senior Accountant to join its finance team. The role will support the Sr. Manager, Accounting and ensure accurate financial records, compliance, and insightful reporting across the organization.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and review general journal entries for all entities.
• Develop and analyze management‑level reports, including variance analysis of expenses.
• Maintain and update account reconciliation files on a set schedule, performing balance‑sheet analysis and resolving discrepancies.
• Process payroll‑related entries and collaborate with tax professionals to compile and file tax returns.
• Assess tax requirements for all entities and ensure compliance with applicable regulations.
• Document, develop, and improve internal controls and finance processes.

Required profile

• Proven experience in senior accounting roles within a multinational environment.
• Strong knowledge of accounting standards, internal controls, and tax compliance.
• Ability to work independently while supporting a team and providing guidance to junior staff.
• Excellent analytical skills with a focus on accuracy and detail.
