Senior Accountant – Finance Leadership

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and file GST returns, act as primary liaison with the CRA, and coordinate with external tax advisors.
• Oversee payment processes, approve cheque runs, electronic disbursements, and bi‑weekly payroll.
• Manage property lease payments, CAM expenses, and support annual insurance renewals.
• Supervise and mentor the Accounts Receivable team, handling onboarding, collections, and AR reporting.
• Document existing reporting processes, identify automation opportunities, and support implementation of Dynamics 365 Business Central.
• Contribute to business intelligence initiatives, including Power BI dashboard development.
• Manage business license renewals and collaborate with departmental leaders to streamline financial and operational workflows.

Required profile

• CPA designation in progress or equivalent.
• Progressive accounting experience with strong knowledge of financial reporting and compliance.
• Leadership or supervisory experience is an asset.
• Strong analytical, problem‑solving, and process‑improvement capabilities.
