General Accounting Associate – OpenRoad

About the role

OpenRoad is seeking a General Accounting Associate to support its fast‑growing automotive retail network. The role involves posting vehicle sales, reconciling accounts, and ensuring compliance with dealership and manufacturer processes.

Key responsibilities

• Post vehicle sales to the general ledger and review daily vehicle deals.
• Prepare month‑end Cardesk packages and handle asset, liability, and capital account entries.
• Reconcile financial discrepancies, monitor invoice payments, and prevent duplicate or unauthorized payments.
• Process vendor payments, employee reimbursements, and intercompany transactions.
• Assist with audit preparations and maintain accurate filing of expense documents.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or equivalent work experience.
• Detail‑oriented, highly organized, and strong interpersonal skills.
• Ability to manage time effectively and prioritize tasks.
• CPA designation is preferred.
• Familiarity with CDK software is a plus.
