Seed Technician – Inventory Team

About the role

The Crop Science Division is looking for a motivated Seed Technician to join the Inventory Team. You will support the breeding organization by handling seed packaging, labeling, and shipment processes for treated Canola seed.

Key responsibilities

• Package and sub‑sample treated Canola seed for distribution.
• Label, organize, sort, sequence, and scan seed samples and inventory.
• Follow company safety rules and standard operating procedures.
• Perform highly repetitive tasks with consistency and accuracy.

Required profile

• Highly motivated and able to work independently or as part of a team.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Patience and flexibility in a fast‑paced environment while meeting deadlines.
• Ability to maintain focus for extended periods on repetitive tasks.
• Quick learner, proactive, and able to work on own initiative.
• Adaptable attitude with willingness to learn new procedures.
• Excellent organizational skills and ability to prioritize daily tasks.
• Physically capable of lifting up to 25 lb.
• Post‑secondary studies preferred.

Required skills

• Full‑time schedule of 32–40 hours per week, Monday to Friday with occasional Saturday overtime.
