Snow Remover – Grounds Maintenance

About the role

We are looking for a reliable Snow Remover to join our grounds maintenance team in Winnipeg. You will work outdoors, assisting with seasonal snow clearing and general landscape upkeep. The position is casual full‑time and offers flexible hours during the winter season. You will report to the site supervisor and collaborate with other crew members.

Key responsibilities

• Assist with landscape constructions and installations.
• Weed, prune, and trim trees and plants.
• Cut grass and maintain lawns.
• Rake and collect refuse, including snow and debris.
• Lay sod or seed and apply fertilizers.
• Water and tend to plants, lawns, and gardens.
• Operate snow removal equipment such as shovels and small plows.
• Maintain equipment and keep the work area clean.

Required profile

• Secondary school graduation certificate or equivalent experience.
• 1 to less than 7 months of related work experience.
• Own vehicle and a valid driver’s licence.
• Willingness to work outdoors in various locations and relocate if needed.
• Ability to lift up to 50 kg and maintain good physical stamina.
• Reliable attendance and basic knowledge of plant care.
