Security Analyst – 12-Month Contract (Regina, SK)

About the role

We are seeking a Security Analyst for a 12‑month contract to join our team in Regina, Saskatchewan. The role is on‑site and full‑time, focusing on monitoring, investigating and responding to cybersecurity incidents.

Key responsibilities

• Manage security incident tickets in ServiceNow, following incident response processes.
• Monitor and analyse network security events from firewalls, IDS/IPS, web proxies and related technologies.
• Perform network traffic analysis to detect compromises, suspicious communications and data exfiltration.
• Support implementation, administration and improvement of network security controls such as firewalls, NAC, segmentation, VPN and secure remote access.
• Review firewall rules, ACLs and configurations to enforce least‑privilege principles.
• Collaborate with architecture, infrastructure and networking teams to remediate security risks and configuration gaps.
• Participate in incident response activities, including packet‑capture analysis, threat containment and root‑cause determination.
• Create and maintain operational reporting artefacts and security awareness campaigns.

Required profile

• Legally entitled to work in Canada.
• Available for a full‑time, on‑site position in Regina.
• Willing to commit to a 12‑month contract with possible extensions.
