Seasonal Host/Hostess for Upscale Casual Restaurant

About the role

Join an upscale casual restaurant as a seasonal Host or Hostess, welcoming guests at the Freestyle Social Club poolside area. This position runs from May to September and offers a dynamic, guest‑focused environment where you will be the first point of contact for diners.

Key responsibilities

• Greet and seat guests promptly, ensuring a positive first impression.
• Assist with reservations and manage the flow of guests using reservation systems.
• Maintain a clean and organized host station throughout the shift.
• Handle guest inquiries and resolve issues to deliver an excellent dining experience.
• Support the service team by coordinating seating and managing wait times during busy periods.

Required profile

• Positive attitude with strong communication and customer‑service skills.
• Flexible availability for weekdays, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Ability to stand, walk, lift, reach, and bend for the duration of the shift.
• Legal permission to work in Canada.

Required skills

• Familiarity with OpenTable or similar reservation platforms (preferred).
