About the role
We are looking for a motivated Cook to join our restaurant team in Calgary, preparing authentic Vietnamese and other ethnic dishes. The role involves handling food safely, serving customers with dietary restrictions, and maintaining a clean kitchen environment.
Key responsibilities
- Requisition food and kitchen supplies and maintain inventory records.
- Prepare and cook complete meals, individual dishes, and special meals for customers with allergies or specific dietary needs.
- Inspect kitchen and food service areas to ensure compliance with safety standards.
- Clean kitchen work areas and equipment after each shift.
Required profile
- Safe Food Handling and Food Safety certificates.
- Ability to work in a fast‑paced, physically demanding environment, including standing for long periods and handling loads up to 60 kg.
- Strong attention to detail, reliability, and teamwork orientation.
- Valid driver’s licence and own vehicle (public transport also available).
