SAP Tax Senior Analyst – Montreal

About the role

The Advanced Technology Centers are seeking an experienced SAP Tax Senior Analyst to join their Montreal team. You will work on designing and implementing tax solutions within SAP S/4HANA, ensuring alignment with financial processes and regulatory requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Analyze current tax processes and design future‑state business and system solutions.
• Assess integration of the existing model with SAP S/4HANA, identifying gaps and improvement opportunities.
• Gather detailed business requirements and translate them into functional specifications.
• Support tax‑related integrations across AP, AR, GL and other cross‑functional areas using SAP FICO knowledge.
• Develop documentation for process design, system configuration and integration requirements.
• Utilize analytical tools to uncover insights, trends and opportunities for process improvement.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to implement solutions and ensure alignment with financial operations.
• Assist with testing, deployment and post‑go‑live stabilization of tax processes.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent college program in a related discipline.
• Minimum 2 years of experience with SAP Direct and Indirect Taxes, including at least one implementation.
• Strong proficiency in SAP FI Taxes (AP/AR) and solid working knowledge of SAP FICO.
• Ability to work independently and act as a subject‑matter expert in team discussions.
• Fluent English for regular interaction with stakeholders across Canada, the US and global locations.
