SAP Finance Consultant (FICO) - Senior Manager

About the role

PwC is hiring a Senior Manager SAP Finance Consultant (FICO) in Calgary. As a functional finance solution architect, you will act as a generalist consultant across SAP applications, helping clients optimise operational efficiency and achieve their strategic objectives. The role leads client and PwC teams in designing and implementing SAP FICO and related finance modules, and works as the SAP Finance Stream lead.

Key responsibilities

• Develop strategic client relationships and deliver high-quality work across multiple client projects
• Lead client and PwC teams in designing and implementing SAP FICO and related finance modules
• Facilitate design sessions with the client and guide the team through development and approval of project deliverables; familiarity with SAP Activate is beneficial
• Advise clients on best practices for finance processes and oversee functional teams on solution design and implementation
• Manage and report status, risks and issues with the project management team, and align scope, design and deliverables across functional, technical, reporting and training teams
• Identify and sell new service opportunities, define resource requirements, workflows, budgets, billing and collection, and present complex materials
• Coach staff, build a collaborative team environment and contribute to a clear direction and vision

Required profile

• Strong prior experience managing client relationships and delivering high-quality work
• Experience leading a functional team of consultants through all phases of an implementation project
• Proven track record of delivering at least two end-to-end SAP FICO implementations, on-premise and cloud
• Deep understanding of financial management and reporting, and expertise across industries such as CPG, manufacturing, public services and retail
• Interest in deepening cross-functional business acumen and upskilling in SAP's newer cloud technologies

Required skills

• SAP FICO: Financial Accounting (General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Fixed Assets, Treasury, Fund and Grant Management)
• SAP Controlling (Overhead Management, Project Accounting, Product Costing, Margin Analysis)
• Integration with SAP modules such as Procurement, Sales, Production and Human Capital Management
• Familiarity with Group Reporting and Financial Planning & Analysis (preferred)
• Ability to develop solution architecture and integrate complex requirements into a coherent SAP solution design

The salary range is $168,000 - $218,000, based on skills, experience, qualifications and location. Eligible employees may also join variable incentive pay programs. The role is open to work visa sponsorship.
