SAP BTP Architect – SAP ABAP, RAP, UI5 & Fiori

About the role

We are seeking an experienced SAP BTP Architect to design, develop, and deploy enterprise‑grade applications on SAP Business Technology Platform in Ontario, Canada. The role focuses on leveraging SAP ABAP, RAP, UI5, and Fiori technologies to create robust, user‑centric solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Develop SAP UI5 and Fiori Elements applications using SAP Business Application Studio.
• Deploy UI applications to the SAP BTP HTML5 Application Repository.
• Consume backend services via OData V2, OData V4, and REST‑based APIs.
• Implement extension, adaptation, and XSUAA authorization mechanisms.
• Collaborate with ABAP RAP and integration teams to ensure seamless end‑to‑end functionality.
• Perform unit testing, debugging, and performance optimisation.

Required profile

• Strong background in SAP ABAP and SAP BTP architecture.
• Hands‑on experience with RAP, OData (V2/V4), and REST APIs.
• Proficiency in SAPUI5, Fiori Elements, and UI5 freestyle development.
• Solid knowledge of JavaScript (ES6+), HTML5, and CSS3.
• Familiarity with cloud deployment concepts, Git version control, and basic CI/CD pipelines.
