Sales Representative – B2B Supply Chain & Logistics (Ontario)

About the role
The Sales Representative will drive new business growth for Chit Chats Express by identifying, qualifying, and converting B2B shipping opportunities across Ontario. You will build relationships with prospective clients, understand their logistics needs, and present tailored solutions that simplify and reduce the cost of shipping.
Key responsibilities
- Source and follow up on inbound leads, outbound outreach, referrals, and marketplace research.
- Conduct discovery calls to assess client shipping volume, carrier usage, pain points, and growth potential.
- Qualify prospects based on commercial fit, shipping profile, compliance, and expected revenue.
- Prepare basic pricing comparisons, savings summaries, and proposals.
- Collaborate with Sales Manager, Data, Product, and Operations teams for complex pricing or service questions.
- Maintain accurate lead and opportunity data in the CRM and track outreach activity.
- Coordinate hand‑off to Onboarding and Account Management for a smooth client transition.
Required profile
- Strong communication and relationship‑building abilities.
- Self‑motivated with a results‑driven mindset.
- Ability to understand and articulate logistics and shipping solutions.
- Experience in B2B sales or business development is preferred.
Required skills
- CRM usage for lead and opportunity management.
