About the role
Join the loudest store in the mall as a Sales Associate for Hot Topic. You will help fans discover and purchase the music and pop‑culture merchandise they love while delivering an outstanding in‑store experience.
Key responsibilities
- Provide an amazing shopping experience, using product knowledge to engage customers and encourage repeat visits.
- Maintain visual standards on the sales floor, stock and replenish merchandise, and execute planogram changes.
- Operate the register, process transactions, and promote add‑on sales through BOPIS and curbside pickup.
- Communicate fashion and music trends to management and corporate partners.
- Assist with stock‑room organization and store tidiness.
- Collaborate with the team and follow store policies to prevent theft.
Required profile
- Previous retail experience and a passion for music and pop culture.
- Strong customer‑service and sales abilities.
- At least 16 years of age.
- Excellent collaboration and communication skills.
- Ability to lift and move merchandise up to 50 lb and use store equipment safely.
