About the role
We are seeking a Retail Store Supervisor to lead our team at our Esso gas station location in Prince George. The role involves overseeing daily store operations, managing staff, and ensuring excellent customer service. You will be responsible for driving sales performance and maintaining store standards.
Key responsibilities
- Assign sales workers to duties and establish work schedules.
- Hire, train, and develop staff members.
- Authorize returns of merchandise and manage cash handling.
- Sell merchandise and prepare sales and merchandising reports.
- Resolve customer requests, complaints, and supply shortages.
- Organize and maintain inventory.
- Supervise and coordinate activities of workers.
Required profile
- High school graduation or equivalent.
- 1 to less than 2 years of experience in retail or supervisory roles.
- Availability for shift, on‑call, flexible hours, including mornings, evenings, nights, weekends, and overtime.
- Fluency in English is required; French is a plus.
