About the role
We are looking for a Retail Store Supervisor to lead our Vernon location of Shoppers Drug Mart. The role involves overseeing daily store operations, ensuring excellent customer service, and driving sales performance.
Key responsibilities
- Supervise staff, including apprentices and temporary workers.
- Assign sales workers to duties and establish work schedules.
- Hire, train, and arrange training for new employees.
- Authorize payments by cheque and manage merchandise orders and returns.
- Prepare reports on sales volumes, merchandising, and personnel matters.
- Organize and maintain inventory and coordinate activities of workers.
Required profile
- 2 to less than 3 years of retail supervisory experience.
- Client‑focused attitude with strong reliability.
- Organized and able to work in a fast‑paced environment.
- Team player with attention to detail.
