Department Manager – Flooring

About the role

Rona is seeking a motivated Department Manager to lead the Flooring section of its Vernon store. You will drive sales, ensure excellent customer service, and support the store’s growth.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise work according to set priorities and company requirements.
• Resolve issues while ensuring customer satisfaction.
• Carry out merchandising duties as directed by the Store Manager.
• Supervise the replenishment process.
• Manage promotional activities and stay aware of trends and competitors.
• Assist in recruiting staff for the department.
• Determine work schedules within the labour budget while meeting customer needs.
• Coach, encourage, and motivate teams.

Required profile

• 5 years experience in personnel management.
• Experience managing a retail business.
• Strong leadership, resourceful and autonomous.
• Excellent communication skills.
