Restaurant Manager

About the role

We are looking for a dynamic Restaurant Manager to lead daily operations at My Roti Place and My Dosa Place in Toronto. The role involves overseeing staff, managing budgets, and ensuring excellent customer service in a fast‑paced environment.

Key responsibilities

• Analyze and develop budgets to control food, ingredient, and supply costs while maintaining profitability.
• Plan, organize, and supervise daily restaurant operations, including staff recruitment, scheduling, training, and performance reviews.
• Adjust menu pricing and food preparation methods based on budgetary targets.
• Maintain inventory, balance cash, and complete financial reports and balance sheets.
• Negotiate with suppliers and clients for catering, supplies, and facility use.
• Address customer complaints, ensure health and safety compliance, and manage special events.

Required profile

• 1 to less than 2 years of experience in restaurant or hospitality management.
• Ability to work under pressure in a fast‑paced environment and stand for extended periods.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to health and safety regulations.
