Restaurant Manager

About the role

Gogi Kitchen is seeking a proactive Restaurant Manager to lead daily operations in our Calgary location. You will be responsible for maintaining profitability, ensuring high‑quality service, and managing a team of 5‑10 staff members in a fast‑paced environment.

Key responsibilities

• Analyze and develop budgets for food, beverage, supplies, and labour costs.
• Adjust menu pricing and food preparation methods to meet budget targets.
• Monitor revenues, cash flow, and complete balance sheets and cash reports.
• Recruit, schedule, train, supervise, and evaluate staff performance.
• Enforce provincial liquor legislation and health‑safety regulations.
• Maintain inventory, handle cash registers, and address customer complaints.
• Participate in marketing initiatives and manage special events.

Required profile

• Secondary school graduation certificate.
• 2–3 years of experience in restaurant or food‑service management.
• Experience supervising a team of 5‑10 employees.
• Ability to work under pressure, meet tight deadlines, and stand for extended periods.
• Clear criminal record check.

Required skills

• Electronic cash register operation.
• Microsoft Excel.
• Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, Outlook).
