Restaurant Cook – Food Preparation & Kitchen Management

About the role

We are looking for a motivated Cook to join our restaurant team. You will be responsible for preparing and cooking a variety of dishes while ensuring high standards of food quality, safety, and presentation.

Key responsibilities

• Determine portion sizes and calculate food costs for menu items.
• Prepare and cook complete meals or individual dishes according to recipes.
• Adapt dishes for customers with food allergies or intolerances.
• Order supplies and kitchen equipment as needed.
• Supervise kitchen staff and helpers, ensuring smooth operations.
• Maintain accurate inventory records for food, supplies, and equipment.
• Oversee overall kitchen operations, including cleanliness and safety compliance.

Required profile

• Secondary school graduation certificate or equivalent.
• 1 to less than 2 years of experience in a restaurant kitchen.
• Ability to work in a fast‑paced, detail‑oriented environment.
• Strong teamwork and client‑focus mindset.
• Organized and capable of handling repetitive tasks.
