Research Technician – Nutritional Assessment

About the role
The Nutritional Assessment Research Technician will support longitudinal clinical studies focused on childhood diabetes, cardiometabolic complications and obesity within the Panagiotopoulos and Devlin laboratories at the BC Children’s Hospital Research Institute.
Key responsibilities
- Collect and analyse dietary intake data from study participants.
- Maintain and update ethics renewals and study documentation.
- Coordinate study activities across multiple Canadian and North‑American sites, including regular communication with external collaborators.
- Enter, manage and verify research data in secure databases.
- Guide participants through dietary reporting procedures and conduct follow‑up as needed.
- Collaborate with physicians, nurses, residents and research staff within the Children’s and Women’s Health Centre.
Required profile
- Demonstrated ability to conduct research ethically and maintain strict confidentiality.
- Capacity to work both independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
- Strong organisational skills to manage study timelines and documentation.
