Research Coordinator – Health Economics & Outcomes

About the role
The Lynd Lab, part of the Collaboration for Outcomes Research and Evaluation (CORE) at the University of British Columbia, seeks a Research Coordinator to support health‑economics, pharmacoepidemiology, early health technology assessment, and outcomes research projects. This full‑time term position runs until July 31 2027 with the possibility of extension.
Key responsibilities
- Design, coordinate, and execute research projects within the Canadian Prospective Cohort Study (CanProCo) focusing on multiple sclerosis progression.
- Assist with grant writing, budget oversight, and financial reporting.
- Develop study protocols, manage ethics submissions, and secure data access.
- Collect, clean, and manage large health‑administrative datasets.
- Contribute to data analysis, interpretation, and dissemination of findings through reports and publications.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary investigators, trainees, and external partners.
Required profile
- Graduate‑level education in epidemiology, health economics, public health, or a related field.
- Experience coordinating complex research studies, preferably in health outcomes or pharmacoepidemiology.
- Strong organizational and project‑management abilities.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Required skills
- Familiarity with research ethics and data governance processes.
- Proficiency in data collection and management techniques.
- Ability to work collaboratively across academic and external stakeholders.
