Research Analyst I – Knowledge Synthesis (Casual)

About the role
The Research Analyst I will join the Artists’ Health Centre at UHN to support a SSHRC‑funded knowledge synthesis on ecological determinants, digital sustainability, and artists’ health. The role involves literature screening, data organization, qualitative analysis, and contributing to policy‑relevant outputs and manuscript drafting.
Key responsibilities
- Conduct full‑text screening and data extraction for systematic reviews.
- Perform qualitative coding and thematic analysis.
- Support realist‑informed (CMO) synthesis.
- Draft synthesis reports, academic papers, and policy briefs.
- Assist with stakeholder engagement and knowledge mobilisation activities.
- Maintain rigorous documentation and research processes.
Required profile
- Enrolled in or recently completed a graduate degree in public health, arts, social sciences, environmental studies, or a related field.
- Experience with qualitative research and/or systematic reviews.
- Strong analytical and academic writing abilities.
- Familiarity with NVivo, Covidence, or similar tools is an asset.
- Knowledge of artists’ health or ecological determinants of health is a plus.
