Rescue Technician – Long-Term Opportunity

About the role

The Total Group of Companies is seeking 12‑16 Rescue Technicians for a long‑term, full‑time project in Saskatchewan. You will join a dedicated rescue team that provides industrial technical rescue standby, fire prevention, training and medical response for our clients.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in developing and reviewing site‑specific rescue plans.
• Support rescue operations, drills, equipment setup and inspections.
• Monitor work areas to maintain a safe site environment.
• Collaborate closely with the rescue team, site personnel and other contractors.
• Communicate clearly and contribute to a positive, team‑focused workplace.

Required profile

• Minimum 18 years of age and authorized to work in Canada with a valid SIN.
• Valid Class 5 driver’s licence, reliable vehicle and a clean driver’s abstract.
• Relevant rescue certifications (see Required skills).

• Confined Space Rescue

• Fall Protection
• Standard First Aid with CPR/AED
• WHMIS 2015
• CSTS 2020
• Class 5 Driver’s Licence
• Rope Rescue or High‑Angle Rescue certification (preferred)
• NFPA 1006 Technical Rescue certification (preferred)
• Firefighter training or industrial rescue experience (preferred)
