About the role
The Security Manager will lead the administrative services department for Central Protection Services in Edmonton, ensuring efficient daily operations and high‑quality client service. This role combines operational oversight, staff development, and strategic advice on information systems within a fast‑paced security environment.
Key responsibilities
- Coordinate and evaluate the operations of the administrative services department.
- Plan, organize, direct, control and assess daily activities, including event management.
- Hire, train and supervise a team of 11‑20 staff members.
- Provide advice on information‑systems strategy, policy, management and service delivery.
Required profile
- College‑level certificate or diploma (1‑2 years) or equivalent experience.
- 2‑3 years of relevant experience in security or administrative management.
- Strong oral and written communication, accuracy, flexibility and analytical mindset.
Required skills
- Proficiency with MS Office.
- Experience using MS Windows.
- Competent internet navigation and research.
