About the role
We are seeking a reliable security guard to protect assets and ensure safety at various locations in Edmonton. The role involves patrolling, operating control‑room equipment, and performing security checks of passengers, luggage, and retail premises.
Key responsibilities
- Drive armoured vehicles and conduct security patrols of assigned areas.
- Investigate unlawful acts, produce reports, and may be required to appear in court as a witness.
- Operate security control‑room equipment and perform security checks of passengers and luggage.
- Prevent and detect shoplifting and theft in retail establishments.
Required profile
- Secondary school graduation certificate.
- Clear criminal record and 20/20 vision.
- Ability to sit, stand, walk for extended periods and work under pressure in a fast‑paced environment.
- Judgement, reliability, teamwork and a positive attitude.
