Remote Practice Registered Nurse (Part‑time)

About the role

Interior Health is looking for an experienced Registered Nurse to join the Remote Practice team at the Alexis Creek Outpost Hospital. This permanent part‑time position (0.40 FTE) offers the opportunity to deliver primary health care and emergency services to a rural community while working within a patient‑ and family‑centered model.

Key responsibilities

• Provide primary health care and emergency services to the identified community.
• Practice in accordance with the British Columbia College of Nurses and Midwives (BCCNM) standards, core competencies, and code of ethics.
• Deliver care using a patient‑ and family‑centered approach.
• Work rotating day shifts from 08:30 to 16:30.
• Collaborate with the local health team to ensure continuity of care.

Required profile

• Registered Nurse with current BC licensure.
• Demonstrated experience in primary health care or emergency nursing.
• Reliable, flexible, and motivated to work in a dynamic, fast‑paced environment.
• Willingness to work part‑time (0.40) on a permanent basis.

Required skills

• Knowledge of BCCNM standards and professional practice guidelines.
• Ability to provide both primary and emergency nursing care.
