Remote Nephrologist – AI Model Reviewer

About the role

This remote contract position allows a board‑certified internal medicine physician to apply clinical expertise to the development and evaluation of large language models used in healthcare. You will work with AI researchers to ensure that AI‑generated medical content is accurate, empathetic, and safe.

Key responsibilities

• Design realistic clinical scenarios covering acute, chronic, and preventive care.
• Assess AI responses for diagnostic correctness, clinical reasoning, and evidence‑based practice.
• Identify knowledge gaps in the model across internal medicine subspecialties.
• Provide structured feedback to improve model performance and reliability.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to integrate medical insights into AI development.

Required profile

• MD or equivalent with active clinical practice within the last 3 years.
• Board certification in Internal Medicine (or equivalent).
• Strong grasp of the full spectrum of internal medicine, including acute care, chronic disease management, and preventive medicine.
• Excellent written and spoken English and ability to explain complex reasoning in patient‑friendly language.
• Education from a top‑tier institution is preferred.

Required skills

• Proficiency in articulating clinical reasoning in clear, written form.
