Remote Accountant – Canadian Financial Advisory Firm

About the role

We are seeking a remote Accountant to join our boutique Canadian financial advisory firm. You will support multiple client accounts, working closely with Senior Accountants and Managers to ensure accurate financial records and timely reporting.

Key responsibilities

• Process accounts payable and accounts receivable for Canadian clients.
• Perform bank and ledger reconciliations.
• Assist with month‑end close and preparation of financial statements.
• Maintain client bookkeeping in QuickBooks, Sage, or Xero.
• Collaborate with senior team members to resolve accounting issues.

Required profile

• 1‑3 years of experience in accounting, bookkeeping, AP/AR, or related functions.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently in a remote environment.
• Willingness to learn and adapt to various client industries.
