Finance Administrator (Nuclear)

About the role

The Finance Administrator provides accurate and efficient financial and administrative support to the Power Generation Region, handling employee travel and board entitlements, financial records, and audit activities.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and submit allowance requests, maintain digital filing and tracking systems.
• Respond to employee inquiries on travel and board allowance eligibility.
• Perform audits and support annual audits of travel and board records.
• Support month‑end close, prepare financial reports, and assist the Finance team.
• Track action items for finance projects and maintain SharePoint documentation.
• Identify and support process improvement opportunities.

Required profile

• Diploma or degree in business, finance, administration or accounting.
• 2‑3 years of experience in finance, accounting, payroll or administrative support.
• Experience with unionized environments and employee allowance programs is an asset.
• Strong organizational, critical thinking and communication skills.

Required skills

• Intermediate Microsoft Excel.
• Experience with ERP/accounting systems.
• Financial data analysis and reconciliation.
