Registered Nurse – Medical Inpatient (Part‑Time)

About the role

Interior Health is looking for an experienced Registered Nurse to join the Medical Inpatient 5 South unit at Royal Inland Hospital in Kamloops. This permanent part‑time position offers a dynamic, fast‑paced environment where you will provide client‑centered care across a variety of clinical settings.

Key responsibilities

• Assess, plan, implement and evaluate patient care in collaboration with the interdisciplinary team.
• Deliver client‑centered care, responding to changing health needs of patients and families.
• Maintain accurate documentation and ensure safe medication administration.
• Participate in shift handovers and contribute to quality improvement initiatives.

Required profile

• Current registration as a Registered Nurse (RN) in British Columbia.
• Reliable, flexible and motivated with a passion for nursing.
• Ability to work rotating day and night shifts (07:30‑19:30 and 19:30‑07:30).
• Commitment to culturally diverse and inclusive care.

Required skills

• Clinical assessment and care planning.
