Registered Nurse – Emergency Department

About the role

Interior Health is looking for an experienced Registered Nurse to join the Emergency Department at Lillooet Hospital & Health Centre. You will provide direct nursing care to emergency patients in a fast‑paced, 24‑hour environment while working collaboratively with an interdisciplinary team.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver nursing care to emergency patients independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
• Enhance patient and family quality of life through consultation and collaboration with other health‑care providers.
• Apply evidence‑based practice and continuous improvement principles in daily nursing activities.
• Maintain and advance personal clinical competence.
• Participate in designated hospital committees, research projects, and approved initiatives.
• Work rotating day and night shifts (07:00‑19:00 and 19:00‑07:00).

Required profile

• Experienced and dynamic Registered Nurse with a passion for emergency care.
• Reliable, flexible, and motivated individual able to thrive in a high‑stress environment.
• Commitment to continuous learning and teamwork.

Required skills

• Registered Nurse (RN) licensure.
• Emergency nursing experience.
