About the role
The Reformer Pilates Instructor will deliver safe, engaging group fitness classes at McGill University’s Currie Gymnasium. This part‑time, fixed‑term position supports students and staff in improving strength, flexibility, and overall well‑being.
Key responsibilities
- Lead and coordinate Reformer Pilates group fitness classes.
- Adapt class content for participants ranging from beginners to advanced levels.
- Modify moves and techniques for individuals with physical limitations.
- Monitor class safety and report any emergency situations to the supervisor or security.
Required profile
- Valid Reformer Pilates certification.
- Current Emergency or Standard First Aid and CPR C certification (required).
- Fluency in spoken English and French.
- Authorization to work in Canada and willingness to work in Quebec.
- Minimum three years of related experience.
Required skills
- Reformer Pilates instruction.
- First Aid & CPR certification.
What we offer
- Hourly wage of $45 CAD.
- Approximately 10 hours per week.
- Fixed‑term contract from 2026‑08‑25 to 2026‑12‑31 under the AMUSE collective agreement.
