About the role
We are looking for a warm, professional Receptionist / Office Coordinator to be the first point of contact for staff, visitors, and Personal Support Workers in a busy office environment. This fully onsite, temporary contract position offers the chance to support daily operations while delivering exceptional customer service.
Key responsibilities
- Welcome and assist visitors, staff, and Personal Support Workers with a friendly, professional demeanor.
- Manage front‑desk operations, including phone and email inquiries.
- Coordinate room bookings, office requests, and general administrative tasks.
- Support onboarding activities such as badge registration and visitor coordination.
- Maintain office supplies, PPE distribution, and overall office organization.
- Help de‑escalate concerns and provide calm, professional assistance.
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure smooth daily office functions.
Required profile
- Previous experience in reception, customer service, hospitality, retail, or office administration.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Professional, patient, and service‑oriented attitude.
- Ability to multitask and stay organized in a fast‑paced environment.
- Comfortable working fully onsite in a front‑facing role.
Required skills
- Basic proficiency with Microsoft Office 365 (Outlook, Teams, Word).
- Strong problem‑solving abilities and quick adaptability.
What we offer
- Temporary contract with immediate start.
- Monday‑Thursday 8:30 AM – 4:30 PM, Friday 8:30 AM – 3:30 PM.
- Potential for contract extension based on business needs.
- Criminal background check required.
