About the role
The Client Service Associate supports the Client Administrative Services Regional team by providing both in‑office and virtual administrative and operational assistance to Financial Consultants and Portfolio Managers. The role focuses on delivering high‑quality service to MD clients while adhering to regulatory and internal standards.
Key responsibilities
- Provide administrative and operational support to Financial Consultants and Portfolio Managers, both on‑site and remotely.
- Champion a customer‑focused culture to deepen client relationships and leverage broader bank resources.
- Respond to client inquiries about MD products and services, and manage contact and opportunity processes.
- Prepare and process client documentation, correspondence, and transaction requests as directed by Advisors.
- Maintain a follow‑up system for inquiries, complaints, and problem resolution to meet service standards.
- Schedule on‑site and virtual client meetings, prepare meeting files, send reminders, and handle time‑sensitive requests during meetings.
- Process new account and trade documentation, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Identify client needs and opportunities using knowledge of MD products and services, and coordinate with other business lines.
- Support research and resolution of complex client concerns and contribute to special projects as required.
- Adhere to professional standards, policies, procedures, and risk appetite in daily activities.
Required profile
- Strong customer‑service orientation with the ability to build and maintain client relationships.
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
- Effective communication skills, both written and verbal, for client correspondence and internal coordination.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a regional team under the guidance of a manager.
- Understanding of regulatory requirements and internal policies related to client services.
