Receptionist (12-Month Contract)

About the role
We are seeking a professional Receptionist to serve as the first point of contact for our organization on a 12‑month contract basis. The role requires a service‑focused attitude, flexibility, and the ability to thrive in a fast‑paced environment while supporting guests, employees, and security processes.
Key responsibilities
- Greet visitors, register guests, and escort them to meeting rooms.
- Manage meeting‑room calendars and maintain the appearance of reception and conference areas.
- Provide coffee service for conference rooms and handle day‑pass card administration.
- Redirect incoming calls to appropriate personnel and monitor security cameras.
- Process pension document intake and liaise with property management for building maintenance requests.
- Assist with data entry, work‑order ticket triage, and other ad‑hoc administrative tasks.
Required profile
- Minimum 2 years of general office or reception experience.
- Grade 12 or college diploma.
- Strong front‑line customer‑service experience with demonstrated professionalism.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
