QA/QC Coordinator

About the role

The QA/QC Coordinator will support quality assurance and quality control activities on large industrial construction projects, ensuring all work meets project specifications, codes, and standards. This position requires a strong field presence and the ability to work independently within a multidisciplinary team.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor and verify the quality of work performed by construction personnel across multiple disciplines.
• Oversee fabricators, vendors, and construction crews to ensure compliance with project specifications and quality requirements.
• Review and approve contractor Inspection and Test Plans (ITPs) and Quality Management Plans.
• Monitor implementation of QA/QC programs throughout construction phases.
• Ensure inspection and test plans are followed and properly documented.
• Identify, track, and coordinate resolution of construction deficiencies with contractors and the Construction Management Team.
• Coordinate turnover documentation and support final project handover.
• Work independently while supporting the larger project execution team.

Required profile

• 4‑9 years of relevant construction quality, field engineering, or QA/QC experience.
• Journeyperson certification in Electrical/Instrumentation or Mechanical trade.
• Working knowledge of electrical, instrumentation, and mechanical systems in industrial settings.
• Strong understanding of industrial construction codes, standards, and best practices.
• Solid knowledge of quality systems, inspection processes, and construction QA/QC frameworks.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office 365 and SharePoint.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple contractors and priorities.
