Project Manager – Manufacturing & Engineering Projects

About the role

PreciKam is seeking a Project Manager to lead manufacturing and engineering projects from concept to delivery. You will ensure projects meet customer requirements, align with profit goals, and adhere to internal and external standards.

Key responsibilities

• Develop comprehensive project plans covering scope, timelines, resources, and budgets.
• Gather and validate customer requirements, ensuring full understanding of project needs.
• Track progress, monitor performance metrics, and report updates to senior managers.
• Identify risks, create mitigation strategies, and manage changes to scope, schedule, or budget.
• Lead engineering activities, including design, approval, verification, and modification of moulds, tools, and processes.
• Prepare and submit quotes for assemblies, new moulds, tooling, and modifications.
• Oversee subcontractors for mould manufacturing, ensuring quality compliance and profitability.
• Maintain transparent communication with internal teams, customers, suppliers, and subcontractors throughout the project lifecycle.

Required profile

• Strong understanding of engineering standards and quality procedures.
• Ability to communicate clearly with internal and external stakeholders.
• Experience managing project budgets and ensuring target gross profit.
