Project Manager – Glazing and Curtain Wall

About the role

Flynn Facades is seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead glazing and curtain‑wall projects in Mississauga. You will act as the primary liaison between clients, subcontractors, and internal teams, ensuring projects are delivered safely, on time, and to the highest quality standards.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct site safety and quality inspections at least every two months and report findings.
• Review and negotiate contracts with clients and subcontractors.
• Interpret drawings, specifications, addenda, and tender documents.
• Manage sub‑mittals, change orders, RFIs, and related documentation.
• Secure bonding, verify insurance coverage, and maintain project documentation.
• Create and maintain a detailed Schedule of Values to streamline invoicing.
• Monitor monthly progress, forecast costs, process invoicing, and manage holdbacks.
• Approve purchase orders and subcontractor invoices.
• Analyze costs using cost coding and financial data.
• Coordinate hand‑overs, kick‑offs, and project close‑out meetings.
• Ensure engineered shop drawings and a project‑specific QC program are in place.
• Document key decisions and communicate issues to the Project Director.

Required profile

• Proven experience managing construction projects, preferably in glazing or curtain‑wall systems.
• Strong financial acumen with ability to forecast, report, and control project budgets.
• Excellent communication skills to interact with clients, subcontractors, and internal teams.
• Detail‑oriented and capable of maintaining comprehensive project records.
