Project Designer

About the role

We are seeking a full‑time Project Designer to join our team in the Greater Toronto Area. You will work on furniture‑focused projects, producing construction drawings, managing submittals, and providing architectural input while ensuring projects meet schedule and quality expectations.

Key responsibilities

• Interpret furniture requirements from a dealership perspective.
• Produce, review, and coordinate construction drawings.
• Manage submittal processes and documentation.
• Conduct space‑planning studies and develop design concepts.
• Provide architectural design input throughout project phases.
• Oversee multiple projects, tracking timelines and objectives.
• Collaborate with clients, contractors, and internal team members to deliver successful outcomes.

Required profile

• Proficiency with submittals and construction drawings.
• Strong space‑planning and architectural design skills.
• Experience managing several projects simultaneously.
• Attention to detail and solid understanding of design principles.
• Effective communication and teamwork abilities.
• Familiarity with design software such as AutoCAD, Revit, or similar tools.
• Bachelor’s degree in Architecture, Interior Design, or a related field.
• Professional experience in a design consultancy or architecture firm is a plus.
• Willingness to travel to client sites and access to a vehicle.
