Project Coordinator – Construction Projects

About the role

PTAG is seeking a Project Coordinator to support its growing teams in Markham, Calgary and Houston. The role will assist project managers and superintendents in delivering major capital projects, ensuring schedules, contracts and documentation are managed effectively.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain professional relationships with owners, partners, consultants, subcontractors and the public.
• Read and interpret project contracts, forecast and track change orders and scope changes.
• Utilize the project management system for administration, update schedules, and issue contracts and purchase orders as directed.
• Provide status reports on project milestones, schedule adjustments and coordinate technical development activities.
• Assist with safety program monitoring and collaborate with accounting to ensure accurate project accounting.
• Support monthly progress applications, interface with customers for status updates, and manage project close‑out documentation, including warranties and as‑built drawings.
• Review project designs for compliance with engineering principles, company standards and contract requirements.
