Project Coordinator – Commercial Construction & Design

About the role

The Project Coordinator will work closely with the Project Manager to support the delivery of commercial construction and renovation projects. This position ensures projects remain on schedule, within budget, and meet client expectations while assisting with design coordination and material selection.

Key responsibilities

• Support the Project Manager in planning, coordinating, and executing commercial construction projects.
• Manage communication and deliverables among clients, consultants, subcontractors, suppliers, and internal teams.
• Track project schedules, milestones, budgets, and key deliverables.
• Coordinate selections of finishes, fixtures, and equipment with stakeholders.
• Assist with procurement, shop‑drawing reviews, and maintain project documentation.
• Maintain accurate records, meeting notes, and progress reports.
• Identify and help resolve project challenges to keep work moving forward.
• Build strong cross‑functional relationships to ensure project success.

Required profile

• Mandatory experience in the construction industry.
• Previous role as Project Coordinator, Assistant Project Manager, or similar.
• Experience with commercial construction and renovation projects preferred.
• Background in interior design, architecture, or design coordination is a strong asset.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines in a fast‑paced environment.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Microsoft Office.
• Experience using project management software.
